In trying to make this the best 35mm short film we can with what amounts to a very limited budget, I'm asking all of the crew to give their time and expertise for free - including me.

We will cover all travel expenses as well as providing food and accommodation at distant locations. The shoot will take place in either Southern Kent or Cambridgeshire, yet to be confirmed, over six days between 22nd and 30th of August 2009.

Here are the posts we are currently looking to fill - more will appear in due course but for the time being, please don't contact us regarding other positions as we probably won't have time to answer!

Producer

Thursday 18th June 2009

Having seen many friends fall foul of the director/producer trap, it's really important to me to bring someone on board who can handle the nitty-gritty of the logistics leading up to and during the shoot, leaving me to focus on the creative side of things.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone with heaps of experience, but you need to be confident and friendly, able to communicate well and get great deals on things we have no money to pay for.  You need to be able to prioritise and delegate as necessary and you need to have 100% belief in the project and its potential.

If that's you, email me here or call 020 3287 4515.

Director of Photography

Thursday 18th June 2009

We're also looking for a creative, dynamic DP to come aboard the creative team early to help shape the look and feel of the picture well before we hit the set in August.

The only Must Have in terms of experience as a DP is knowledge of and experience with 35mm film as that's what we're shooting on. Beyond that, I'm looking for someone who will gel well with me and my style, but also be able to put their own ideas forwards and challenge me to make the film better across the board.

If you think you may be up for it, drop me an email in the first instance and I'll contact you for a showreel and meeting to discuss the project.

Storyboard Artist

Thursday 18th June 2009

We need a great graphic artist, preferably but not essentially with experience of storyboarding, to put together the boards for the film to help me communicate the look and feel of the film to the crew and potential investors in the project.

This is the only post that is geographically sensitive, as you will need to be within easy travelling distance of Milton Keynes so we can meet face-to-face to go through the script and hash-out ideas.

To put yourself forward for this post, email me or call 020 3287 4515.
